L’Organismo Italiano di Contabilità sta organizzando un evento sul futuro dello standard-setting. L’evento si terrà il 27 marzo, dalle 16:00 a Roma. Il convegno sarà introdotto da un intervento del Vice-ministro dell'Economia e delle Finance Maurizio Leo e dal Presidente OIC Michele Pizzo. Proseguiranno due tavole rotonde moderate una da Giovanni Sabatini (IFRS Trustee) e l'altra da Tommaso Fabi (Direttore OIC) Interverranno rappresentanti dello IASB (Linda Mezon Hutter - IASB vice-chair), dell’EFRAG (Benoit Jaspar - Chairman EFRAG Administrative Board), dello standard setter del Canada (Armand Capisciolto - Chairman), degli Stati Uniti (Susan M. Cosper - FASB member), del Regno Unito (Seema Jamil-O'Neill - Technical Director UKEB), del Giappone (Yasunobu Kawanishi - Chairman) nonché esponenti di società quotate (Cristiano Borean - Group CFO Generali), di associazioni di categoria come Assirevi (Gianmario Crescentino - Chairman) e Accountancy Europe (Eelco van der Enden - CEO), di rappresentanti della Commissione Europea (Sven Gentner - Head of Unit Corporate reporting, audit, and credit rating agencies DG FISMA.C.1), e della comunità finanziaria di investitori (Jeremy Stuber - Partner Doric Capital Partners). The OIC is organizing an event focused on the guidelines for social security contribution receivables and the transition to accrual accounting. The event will be held on 17 March 2026 at 15:30. The conference will open with a keynote speech by the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Lorenzo Fontana. Following the opening, speakers will include Alberto Bagnai: President of the Parliamentary Commission for the Oversight of Social Security and Welfare Institutions, Michele Pizzo: President of the OIC and Claudio Teodori: Board Member of the Financial Statements Observatory. The event will also feature a roundtable discussion with representatives from the State General Accounting Office, the Court of Auditors, COVIP, and various industry associations. The OIC is organizing an event on the subject of simplification as support for smaller businesses. The event will be held on November 20th, from 11:00 to 13:00, in the Sala degli Atti Parliamentari at the “Giovanni Spadolini” Library of the Senate of the Republic in Piazza della Minerva 38 in Rome. The conference will be introduced by an interview conducted by the journalist Laura Gobbetti with the former IVASS President Salvatore Rossi. Prominent representatives of the main Italian political parties and representatives of Italian business will take part in a round table dedicated to the topic.
